Synopsis

Meet Brin and Melly, the most unlikely best friends in the forest.Amazon #1 New Release in Children's Bear Books

Brin is a gentle grizzly bear with a big heart but no one to share it with. Melly is a tiny owl with endless curiosity, funny jokes, and a knack for finding adventure. When the two meet deep in the Pacific Northwest forest, they discover that the most unexpected friendships can change everything.

As Brin and Melly explore the woods together, they help their animal friends, overcome challenges, and learn that true courage isn't about being fearless. It's about standing beside the people you love when they need you most.

Inspired by an original chainsaw carving created by educator and artist Aaron Chavez while working at a Canadian international school in Guangzhou, China. Brin and Melly grew from a simple carving into a heartwarming story that celebrates friendship, kindness, courage, and belonging.

Melly was inspired by the nickname of Aaron's first granddaughter, Melody, making this story a special tribute to family, imagination, and the joy of childhood.

Filled with humor, adventure, and beautiful woodland charm, Brin and Melly is the first heartwarming adventure in the Brin and Melly series, a collection of stories that reminds children that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

Perfect for bedtime, classrooms, libraries, and family reading.

Ideal for ages 3 to 8.
