Arlene S. Bice is the author of many non-fiction books on New Jersey history, memoir, metaphysics, poetry, short stories, and now adds fiction to the list. Her poems A Writer's Pandemic and New Orleans were performed in the Pandemic Blues at the Kirby Theatre directed by Fred Motley in Roxboro, (NC). She is the recipient of the Florence Poets Society Poet of Distinction Award and the Second Annual Oakley Hall Literary Award.
Pre-pandemic she hosted Poetry in Nature afternoons in the garden at Backyard Birds and the Rosemont Vineyard.
Ms. Bice is a co-founding member of the Warren Artists Market (WAM) and holds memberships in Triangle Association of Freelancers (TAF), and International Women's Writing Guild (IWWG). She holds Lifetime memberships in the Bordentown Historical Society (NJ) and New Egypt Historical Society (NJ)
Ms Bice is the former proprietor of By the Book @ U & I Gift Shop (NJ) for nearly 20 years and wrote a book review column for the Register-News for ten years. World travel is a passion. She is an on-going student of past life regression and parapsychology.
She is an avid reader from New Jersey that lives in Virginia.
