Synopsis

Did running from her abusive ex send her into the arms of something even worse?

After two years in an abusive relationship with her fiancé, Warren, Zyon grabs what she can and runs. On a whim, she heads for Emory Falls--the one place her hairstylist can't stop talking about. It's remote, friendly, and exactly what she needs to feel safe. But when she finds out that her new house is haunted, Zyon is constantly torn between standing her ground and taking off again. Even indulging in some wicked pleasures isn't enough to settle her mind.

When her resident poltergeist lands her in the hospital, she's certain she has an answer. Then he surprises her by grovelling for her forgiveness. It's a familiar ploy, but something about it feels different. Genuine. Then she doesn't have time to think about it because Warren crashes into her life again. Between him and the poltergeist, will Zyon ever know peace or true romance again?

This book is a dark romance that deals with themes such as death, self-harm, abusive relationships, and more, so read with caution.
