Martyn Silvester has over 40 years of experience in the marine boating and yachting sector. A qualified marine engineer and pleasure craft surveyor, he began his career with an apprenticeship in marine propulsion systems and engineering.
Throughout his career, Martyn has worked with award-winning manufacturers and blue-chip companies across a wide range of disciplines, including production manufacturing, new project builds, refits and repairs, fleet management, engineering and maintenance projects. His expertise also extends to sales and marine surveying for both high-performance motorboats and sailing yachts across multiple construction materials.
Passionate about sharing his knowledge, Martyn also spends time teaching marine trades and promoting industry standards. His journey has taken him from a small lake in North Staffordshire to open waters on projects across the UK and throughout Europe.
Today, Martyn continues to work hands-on across Europe with leading companies, private owners and undertaking his own boat refits while helping others enjoy the world of boating and yachting.
