Synopsis

Embrace of the Ancient Blood is a historical dark-fantasy anthology set in the VoidWorlds Universe. Spanning from 1500 BCE to the present day, the series follows The Vampyrum Ordo Antiquus as it struggles to survive an advancing human world while facing rival forces: the Vampyrvargr and the Order of the Light, with mysterious beings lurking in the cosmos. This is the first collection of short stories leading up to the first Novel, Embrace of The Ancient Blood: Dark Storm.

The collection features 11 short stories within a shared universe that takes place within multiple different timelines. Which include:

Vsevolod's defiance - A ruthless Vampire from Kievan Rus that believes humanity isn't worthy of ruling Earth; he sets out on a journey to conquer settlements in Eastern Europe.

Hilda's Vengeance - An Ostrogothic warrior who avenges her father from a ruthless Roman politician

Kalev - A half vampire from Byzantine-ruled Israel that is believed to carry a gift from a higher power, attempting to share the gift amongst his people, unaware that a war is brewing between two forces unknown to the world.
