Synopsis

The key escaped last month. It's still laughing.

Marisol is a 900-year-old witch serving cosmic community service, and the moon just handed her the same assignment twice: find the bright orange key. The one that sprouted legs and giggled its way to freedom while the sky turned red.

This time the chase takes her through jungle ruins, a canal city that keeps breaking under her magic, and a carnival where the key discovers pigeons, oranges, and a very enthusiastic audience of ten thousand.

She has too much power and no way to aim it. A wealthy collector wants the key behind glass. And Tibby - her ancient, immortal, deeply judgmental cat - has fallen in love with a box.

The box has a keyhole.

He was warned.

À propos de l'auteur

Dennis Santaniello is a New Jersey-born author who writes novels, screenplays, and essays. His work moves between historical fiction and nonfiction, with a steady interest in how people carry memory, loyalty, and damage through time. His books include Sergei and Hans, a World War I novel set on the Eastern Front, The Conquistadors Trilogy about the Spanish conquest of the Americas, the nonfiction series The Fruits of History, and Dennis At The Movies. He publishes independently and approaches his work with patience, curiosity, and a voice shaped by long years of writing and revisiting the same questions from different angles.
