Synopsis

This book was born from grief,

Containing both Poetry & Spoken word.

Nan and Pop's were my whole world. The Heads of our family.

The one's who held everything together.

Losing my Nan in March 2024 and then my Pop's in March 2025 shattered me.

My life broke open, And I didn't know who I was without them.

The pain of grief hasn't eased, And I don't want it to.

Missing them is the measure of how deeply I love them.

I've learned that grief is love with nowhere to go,

So I've poured that love into these poems.

This collection is dedicated to them, To my four little Maybe's,

And to others I've loved and lost along the way.

When Pop's passed I made him a promise to build a life for myself,

I also promised Nan everything I do, I would do to make her proud,

Publishing this book is part of that promise being kept.

I miss them beyond words.

And while nothing can ever fully honour who they were, This book is my

way of keeping their memory alive.

Not only for myself, But for my Mum and sisters as well.

I hope these poems bring comfort to anyone learning to live with their

own grief.
