Three weeks after surviving the frozen nightmare of White Death, Emily Holloway is still trying to pretend she is fine. She goes back to work. She hides the mark on her ankle. She touches the empty place at her throat where her grandfather’s pendant used to be.
But sleep has become dangerous.
Desperate for rest, Emily turns to prescribed sleeping pills, hoping for one night without snow, drowning, or the faceless thing that watched her from the white distance. Then a strange parcel arrives at her flat: a tall black mirror wrapped in rain-soaked cloth, accompanied by a message she cannot ignore.
What was taken shall now be reflected.
At 3:33, the nightmare returns.
Only this time, Emily does not wake in a frozen wasteland. She wakes inside her own flat. No doors lead outside. No windows open onto the world. And the mirror in the hallway is no longer reflecting properly.
