Synopsis
Tithes in the Church-world are the most controversial and debateable subject of the Bible. Yet, it is one of the most and greatest Principles in operation in the spiritual life and conduct of the sincere Believer. Tithing is so important to God that, if not practiced correctly, it can destroy the Believer's Relationship with the Lord, rob him of the necessary desire and protection that we all need, and causes a Curse on those who deny this practice as part of their Christian growth and development. Tithing was instituted by God in the Old Testament with Father Abraham, was transposed into the Wilderness Journey of Israel being a specific part of the Law, was carried over into Canaan's Land during the kings' dispensation, being witnessed and taught through the priesthood and the prophets; was carried over into the New Testament as a spiritual Commandment being witnessed and enforced by the Lord Jesus Christ, and was practiced during the stablishing of the New Testament Church of Christ. The neglect of Tithes by God's Children in these latter days have destroyed the Body of Christ to become a sect instead of the Church of Christ.
