Synopsis
The Devil in Darlington
When Thomas Holland regains consciousness in the woods, his girlfriend Melissa lies dead in his arms, and he has no memory of how it happened. What begins as a tragic accident quickly spirals into a nightmare as Thomas’s behavior grows increasingly violent, unstable, and inhuman.
Sentenced to Darlington Asylum for the Criminally Insane, Thomas becomes the center of a chilling mystery. Nurses vanish. Patients disappear. Security footage fails. And something ancient and malevolent begins to stir within the asylum’s walls.
As documentary filmmaker Tina Lawson investigates Thomas’s case, she uncovers a buried history linking Darlington, unspeakable trauma, and a supernatural force that feeds on rage, fear, and guilt. What starts as a film project becomes a fight for survival as an entity far older than the asylum itself reveals its true purpose.
