Do you by any chance keep a diary ?

Across the year of 2016 I have promised to write a diary with one edition each month. Here is the first volume for January.

I love our NHS. If I live to be one hundred years of age I could never repay my family’s debt to our amazing National Health Service. I am going to try to reduce our overdraft this year with a writing challenge where I have promised to write one million words as part of a wider project supporting patients in hospital and celebrating the love and care they receive from doctors, nurses and everyone else.

My daily diary entries are designed to help keep me focussed on my writing challenge but also, and this is very important, to encourage others to write their own diaries. To write as a therapy for wellbeing.

So here I am writing a diary, will you write one too ?
