Synopsis
The author has pored over the Bansenshukai and the Shoninki at length. The greatest advantage of these ancient ninja scrolls — and the deepest wisdom — to be found in these documents has to do with the philosophy of the guerrilla warrior. That is, after all, what the ninja were. They were lone warriors who were always outnumbered and always outgunned, using their stealth, trickery, and intelligence to gain an advantage in life and execute their plans while letting nothing and no one stand in their way.
When you embrace the wisdom of the ninja, when you develop a strategic and combative mind, you become the sort of person who is a more capable warrior of life. You become a capable, flexible, adaptable individual, a modern ninja who knows what he wants and knows how to get it.

The author, rather than being a practitioner of ninjutsu, is a martial artist who is interested in the ninja and what they can teach us.
