Synopsis

Desperate prayers need answers! Where is God while I’m waiting? Why is God not answering my prayer? What am I supposed to do in the meantime?

Diane De La Santos tackles these questions by sharing practical stories of her work life and personal journey, and dependence upon God in prayer: His timing, her patience, His purpose fulfilled.

Experience for yourself how God moves in power through desperate prayer! Diane De La Santos, an ordained minister, served for 20 years as founder and CEO of City on a Hill Milwaukee, a parachurch urban ministry that impacted the
lives of countless children, families and communities across Wisconsin and the region. Diane left an executive level corporate job by faith and prayer, to answer the call to lead and revive an abandoned hospital complex into a thriving model of urban ministry. It was an incredibly accomplished journey of visionary leadership, filled with hills and valleys, victories and losses. Diane passed away from cancer in January 2024, not long after retiring, and City on a Hill concluded its 25 year run in 2026.
