BORING: What If Everyone Was Exactly the Same?
A Brilliant, Bold, and Beautiful Children's Book About Differences, Diversity & Dignity
What would the world look like if every kid acted the same, dressed the same, ate the same snacks, played the same games, and liked the same things? BORING.
In this powerful and playful picture book, Sharon Esther Lampert invites children to explore the magic of differences - the tiny quirks, big talents, and unique traits that make every person one-of-a-kind.
Through vivid examples and compassionate storytelling, kids learn the meaning of two big ideas:
From red-haired girls with freckles, to tall kids towering over teachers, to book-loving introverts, vegetarians, left-handers, STEM-loving girls, and boys who like pink - this book teaches children the most important lesson of all:
Be kind. Be respectful. Become their friend.
Because everyone is a majority sometimes... and a minority sometimes. And that's what makes the world vibrant, interesting, and beautiful.
