Synopsis
Far from Earth, 150 million kilometers away in Space, lies the home of the Seven Dwarfs, a happy community of Space colonists who have freed themselves from the United Nations and from the rule of its vengeful queen. But she will not leave them in peace. All must conform to The Unity of Human Achievement, she declares, and she directs the UN Solar Navy to make it so. Duty thus calls Lieutenant-Commander Will Proudfoot to a task that he would not himself have chosen. Taken prisoner in the Seven Dwarfs, he is astonished to see that his hosts have recreated seven gardens of Eden in their far-off wheel colonies. “Snow White”, they say when he asks what inspires them. Repatriated to UN service, he then comes across evidence of a deadly conspiracy. Now he must decide where his loyalties truly lie.
