It’s the late 1970’s. The chase is on again ... or is it? Who is a real friend and who the determined foe in a game of poker where no player appears to have a genuine interest in the cards being dealt, especially a new British Government led by a strong willed Lady Prime Minister?
The removal of the Shah from Iran leaves the way clear for the country to be taken over by a bunch of hard line religious clerics and now, no matter how the cards fall, the winner of the final game will be the one favoured by the newly formed Revolutionary Guard (IRGC). The discovery that the infamous Hakimi is alive and well and proposed to be number two at the IRGC is a complete shocker for Gary Chase.
There is unfinished work to be done. Gary and Howard Tibbs have a mission of their own. Some lives might well be sacrificed along the way, but both are determined to ‘remove’ Hakimi, a man with many lives and many identities. Battling the security services of the British, the Americans and the Israelis, it’s going to be a close run race!
‘Kill’ is the third book in the exciting trilogy: CHASE: CATCH: KILL: Once again, Gary Chase and his resourceful sidekick Howard Tibbs are on the trail of the murderous Iranian General Hakimi. The seemingly impossible task follows a path strewn with unexpected obstacles placed in front of them by the world’s most capable security services. The outcome must surely be almost impossible to predict. One final game of poker will decide the fate of every player at the table!
If you are looking for a story defined by some fast paced action, then why not jump aboard this page turning techno thriller offering a superb, well written narrative with bite. Whichever way Gary Chase turns, he is deflected from his course by an undercurrent of political skulduggery and betrayal at the highest levels of government, a gripping final book in this action packed trilogy.
