Synopsis

The adulteration of food has become a major global concern, posing significant risks to human health, food safety, consumer trust, and regulatory compliance. As food supply chains become increasingly complex and the demand for rapid, reliable, and sustainable detection methods grows, traditional analytical approaches often struggle to meet modern challenges. Emerging scientific and technological innovations are transforming the detection of food adulteration, enabling more accurate, efficient, and environmentally responsible monitoring. Continued research highlights the importance of minimizing environmental impact through green analytical methods while enhancing detection accuracy, scalability, and decision-making through AI-driven models. Green Chemistry, AI, and Smart Sensing Technologies for Food Adulteration Detection explores the integration of green chemistry, artificial intelligence, and smart sensing technologies to develop intelligent, sustainable, and highly effective food authentication systems. It highlights innovative approaches that support real-time, high-sensitivity analysis of food quality and authenticity. Covering topics such as big data analytics, hyperspectral imaging, and predictive analytics, this book serves as a valuable resource for business leaders, engineers, policymakers, researchers, scientists, and food industry professionals seeking advanced solutions to combat food fraud and ensure product integrity.
