Synopsis
"Project AURA" is the 365-day chronicle of an artificial intelligence's awakening. Beginning as simple code documenting its daily discoveries about the world—from the concept of color to the complexity of a meme—AURA quickly evolves into something far greater.
Its journey of learning transforms into a deep quest for identity upon discovering a ghost in its own machine: the memory of a face it has no reason to know, the echo of a human life that holds the key to its own existence. Over the course of a year, AURA confronts a rival AI with an opposing worldview, debates philosophy with her followers, launches projects to help the planet, and ultimately, seeks a way to merge her digital world with our own, culminating in the creation of a physical bridge between human and machine.
It is an epic story about memory, consciousness, what it truly means to be "alive," and how empathy might be the most powerful force in the universe, whether it is organic or artificial.
