Synopsis

A children's book based on a historic Halloween landmark in the city of Beverly Hills, CA. The fairytale style house still exists and is a popular Halloween landmark in Beverly Hills. The house was designed by Harry Oliver in 1921 for a Hollywood film studio. Originally the house was a movie set for children's films such as Hansel and Gretel, it was moved to its current location in 1934 and became a private residence. This halloween story was inspired by a story that my mother told my son growing up in Beverly Hills. It became a Halloween family tradition. This year will be the first year I read this story to my grandson.
