Centuries later, when Emily Hatton, a history teacher with a fighter’s spirit, and her ex-military husband Frank purchase a dusty old bookshop in St Albans, they expect nothing more than a new start for their family. But their rebellious daughter Samantha uncovers something extraordinary: a leather-bound scroll sealed in wax, inscribed in mysterious Latin.
It is the first clue in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
