In an alternate America in the not-too-distant future, the War Council of the city-state of Chicago determines the time is right to expand and consolidate power. Kate begins the process of infiltrating other large cities in the Midwest with a secret weapon.
Artificial Intelligence has grown in scope and capability into human-like robots – a perfect means of deceiving enemies and executing hostile actions.
The rulers of Chicago know that their gods hate Jews and Christians. Integral to their dual-pronged approach at dominance is the purging of these opposing religious ideologies. To accomplish this objective, the War Council charges Ian with the purpose of hunting and eliminating these spiritual foes.
