Synopsis
This volume selects poems from all of Armand Brint's previous seven books and ends with new poems titled “Land of Enchantment"—a nod to New Mexico where he was born.
There’s a lot of life packed in between: many highs and many lows, but mostly the day-to-day oddities, marvels, mishaps, and joys that give the years such richness and meaning. Many, if not most of the subjects of these poems relate to living in Mendocino County—hence the title Traveling in Place. Armand says, "I find my home so intrinsically brimming with whimsy, contrast, beauty and possibility that it has become a natural reservoir for poetry. I couldn’t have settled in a better land for poems."
