Synopsis

In 1960’s North Motherwell, nineteen year old Ben Clark decides to rob a bank to have enough money to own his own supermarket, little suspecting that it would entail, being an accomplice to murder, robbing a bookmaker to avenge what he did to his best pal Kenny Moffat, or knife attacked by a young Polish boy. Not including what he most dreaded...meeting his girlfriend Mary’s parents.

So when his Thespian Group decide to hold a play in an attempt to raise money to help an injured young Archie Henderson who was accidentally knocked off his bike by Ben, it leads to newspaper photos of Ben in the same guise that he used when bank robbing.

Unfortunately, the photos lead to a Glasgow gang, who coerce Ben into helping them with their next robbery, with the added threat of harming his parents and his girlfriend should he refuse.

What is to unfold no one could ever have foreseen.
