ADHD is not a character flaw — it is a biologically driven pattern that responds best to personalized support.
Developed by a nurse practitioner and informed by nearly 30 years of evidence‑based research, this book offers a clear, science‑grounded approach to understanding ADHD through the lens of DNA methylation, nutrigenomics, and functional medicine.
Designed as a practical guide, this book walks you step by step through how genetics, nutrient pathways, and lifestyle factors influence focus, energy, mood, and behavior — and how to support those systems safely and thoughtfully.
Inside, you’ll learn:
• Why DNA methylation plays a central role in ADHD symptoms
• How nutrigenomics explains why the same supplement works for some but not others
• The four DNA methylation cycles and how they affect brain function
• Foundational lifestyle strategies that support brain health before adding supplements
• Core lab tests commonly used in functional ADHD care
• How to choose base supplements with confidence
• How to identify your dominant methylation cycle and match supplements accordingly
• How to interpret scores, track progress, and adjust for sensitivity
This book is especially helpful for individuals who feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice, experience side effects from standard approaches, or want a more individualized path forward.
Whether you are an adult with ADHD, a parent supporting a teen, or a reader seeking a deeper understanding of personalized ADHD wellness, this guide provides a structured and compassionate framework for moving forward.
