Synopsis

WELCOME, BR4VE TRAVE1ER

S4N1—or “Sanny” as he prefers to be called—is CY’s sanitation AI, responsible for the timely expulsion of the city’s sewage, garbage, and miscellaneous waste. For decades, Sanny has faithfully and silently executed his function, unaware of the greater changes happening in CY; forgotten and taken for granted, nobody was around to notice the worm of some higher intelligence burrowing itself into the AI’s core programming. Replicating. Evolving. Taking over.

Now, Sanny wants to quit his job—a clean break—and you’re going to help him.

CLEAN BREAK is a supplement for the CY_BORG TTRPG system, wherein the city’s sanitation AI hires the PCs to free itself from the shackles of its programming. The zine contains four full heists that can be played as either a narrative series or dropped into your own campaign as one-shots. The supplement also contains new enemies, items, tech, and rules for constructing your very own D3ATH M4CHINE—high-octane vehicles built for destruction!

FOUR ADVENTURES

  • Up the Down Toilet – Brave the derelict and weirdo-infested headquarters of CY_Sanitation, sabotage the sewage regulators, and determine where S4N1 was transferred post-quarantine.
  • Crash Kids – Build a custom D3ATH M4CHINE and aid a stank-but-friendly roadrunner clan with taking down a military convoy transporting an experimental piece of tech.
  • What Rough Beast – Infiltrate the Cult of the Rough Beast and recover a MilSpec APP from their frankly questionable monastery.
  • S4N1: The Iron Man – Navigate the ever-shifting hab-cubes of the Floating Hive arcology, and receive whatever just deserts are apropos.
