You are invited to explore North American poet Karen Quickley’s whimsical, imaginative, and lighthearted poetry chapbook The Beautiful Thing. This body of work on a theme of romantic love was inspired by the artwork of contemporary artists Phoebe Wahl. Cantrin Welz-Stein, and Christian Schloe.

“I’ve always loved
Red dresses and
This time of night.
I didn’t expect
