Synopsis
At 10 years of age Wiglaf has been sent to Denmark to be raised under the care of the renowned King Hrothgar. Resentful at first of his exile, Wiglaf sets himself against the welcome he is offered by Hrothgar's people, the Scyldings. But he must learn to adapt over time as he encounters monsters and war and a vengeful Vanir goddess. Set in Iron Age Denmark and built upon the legends and history surrounding the epic poem Beowulf, Wiglaf's story is a vivid reimagining of Old Norse adventure.
