The Blodge
The Rapture is not salvation—it’s a carefully crafted, hypnotic lie.
When the sky turns green and an angelic chorus begins, humanity marches toward golden crosses, believing they are chosen for ascension. But physicist Jake Evans knows the truth: Earth is being harvested. Trapped on the colossal Crabillion alien carrier, Jake fights to dismantle the system he helped build, knowing his wife, Jessie, and daughter, Ami, are caught in the planet-wide stampede.
Jake’s sabotage cripples the alien projection, but the enemy unleashes The Blodge—a sentient, corrosive black goo that dissolves flesh instantly. While Jake is desperately beamed up and held captive with his family, the unlikely ground resistance—Jessie, the resourceful flight attendant Matty, and cynical mechanic Porter—discovers the Blodge's one bizarre weakness.
With a rogue nuclear submarine set to obliterate the alien carrier in eight hours, Jake must race to expose the enemy's true, disturbing motive: a dark treaty with corrupt leaders to "clean up" a world already doomed by war, disease, and the incoming Wormwood comet.
