Grace is not an idea—it shows up in real lives, in real time.
These sermons were preached at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church, where I have the privilege of serving as Parish Associate. They were shaped by the honest questions of people walking through ordinary days filled with both joy and sorrow.
Over these first seven years at BMPC, I discovered again and again that sermons are not speeches but conversations—between scripture and the present moment, between faith and doubt, between God’s promise and our lived experience.
My hope is that these words will carry something of that conversation to you—whether you were in the pews when they were first spoken or are reading them now for the first time. This collection is less about polished theology and more about honest wrestling and storytelling, rooted in the conviction that God’s love is wide, deep, and always breaking into our lives in unexpected ways.
May these sermons be companions for your journey, reminders of grace, and sparks of hope for whatever lies ahead.
