Mankind is no longer in control of the earth. Through an extraordinary series of events, dolphins have taken over and domesticated the human race. Gone are people’s creative and innovative spirit; their sole desire is to serve their dolphin Master, Lord Oscar.
On a small island, Sen Aarlof is born, a seemingly normal, robust young boy. Yet right from the outset it appears that something is terribly wrong. Sen develops a will and mind of this own that puts him on a collision course with everyone in his village, as well as the dolphin Lord.
His desperate and dangerous search for self-identity leads Sen to Oscar City, the heart of the dolphin Empire. Here he meets Lord Oscar and finds out the astonishing truth about himself. He also realizes that his troubles are only just beginning.
