Bombing Japanese ships and rescuing sailors in the ocean with his PBY Black Cat squadron after the sea battles in the Philippines. Three plane crashes and a broken back. Capturing a pygmy headhunter in Borneo. Impersonating an officer after the war. Marrying his prewar sweetheart and raising a family. Building a world-famous manufacturing company.
