Then the Father's presence descended heavily, from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. I continued to weep, but now it was tears of joy and relief. I knew that I had just experienced the new birth.The Person of the Holy Spirit entered this broken-down, drug-filled life and changed it instantly into the tabernacle of the living God. From 1:00-7:00 a.m., praises rang out in that dorm room as I sat on the edge of the bed, thanking God for His salvation. In total amazement and astonishment, a confession of praise kept flowing forth over and over, "Wow, I am a child of God and truly a Christian."
