Synopsis

Cinema is Jason Gehlert's fifteenth entry into his library of work and his unique writing style brings horror to a new level! This collection, separated into sprawling short stories and poems, brings back several of his iconic characters as well as some thrilling new heroes. Laanes Available paints a disturbing tale about reckless teens stranded in a rundown bowling alley. Echoes is the centerpiece of the collection, featuring a group of teenagers fighting for survival inside a cave and features William, a Down Syndrome character you'll likely not soon forget. Gehlert's Immortal hitman Jeremiah Black (from his novel of the same name) returns in a pair of unique tales, and Malcolm Ellis for the macabre tale, My Black Valentine. Cinema also features artwork by artist Mary Ellen Doering, and marks the fifth collaboration with Black Bed Sheet Books. Altogether, Cinema is a must-have for horror collection enthusiasts as well as Jason Gehlert fans!

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

As horrormeister Jason Gehlert's library continues to evolve and expand towards new genres, his emergence as a literary voice continues to build momentum. On the heels of his highly successful jungle zombie novel Contagion (Stonegarden.net Publishing) and his short story collection Demon Revolver, a personalized collection of paranormal mayhem and carnage in Ghost Prints, and The Ferrymen (Damnation Books), came JEREMIAH BLACK, a full-length novel which brought him into the worldwide spotlight. He is also the author of the acclaimed science fiction series Europa, blending sci-fi and horror into what Countgore.com calls a "killer series." His early werewolf series Quiver is currently being adapted for feature film, as well as The Woodsman. He also penned the intense shark thriller Red Triangle and more recently the illustrated career-defining story collection Filter. His editing credits include the anthology Read Us or Die (Black Bed Sheet Books). Armed with a Communication/Media Degree from SUNY-New Paltz, Gehlert continues to tour the country, from the Playboy Mansion, to various horror conventions, offering advice about writing, marketing, and the promotional side of being an author, Jason is conquering the world with his fiction even as you read this. Jason lives with his wife, teacher and fellow author Tammy Gehlert, and their children, Natalie, Delanie and Cara.
