Synopsis

Fake dating the hot contractor next door? What could possibly go wrong?

Casey Phillips is starting over after a messy divorce, and she has one goal: finish her jingle-writing deadline without distractions.

Then Shane Webber moves in next door.

He's handsome, charming, maddeningly distracting, and constantly surrounded by renovation noise. Shane left Texas to escape a broken heart, not to get tangled up with the sharp-witted songwriter next door. But the more they clash, the harder it becomes to ignore the chemistry building between them.

Then comes the kiss.

Unplanned. Public. Completely convincing.

And witnessed by Casey's ex-mother-in-law.

To avoid more drama, Casey and Shane agree to fake a summer romance. The plan is simple: act like a couple, keep everyone convinced, and walk away before things get complicated.

Except complicated shows up fast.

With Shane's family drama closing in, Casey's friends offering plenty of opinions, exes stirring up trouble, and Philadelphia summer chaos heating up around them, their pretend relationship starts to feel dangerously real.

The rules were supposed to protect their hearts.

Too bad Shane and Casey were never very good at following rules.

Flip This Heart is a fun, flirty contemporary romance packed with fake dating, neighbors-to-lovers tension, renovation chaos, loyal friendships, messy families, and a love story that proves sometimes the best things in life are completely unplanned.

À propos de l'auteur

Theresa, born in the early sixties, (yes, the last century) with the advent of television, computers, Facebook, and Instagram molded her into the writer that she is today. Her first foray into writing happened only when she was four years old and with a black crayon in hand telling the tale of a witch that was a spider that held a princess captive. Much to her father's chagrin discovering a big black ugly spider on nearly every page of his school yearbook. Yes, Theresa was taught a valuable lesson that day about other people's possessions and respecting said items.During her informative years she excelled in creative writing skills. Sometimes, life throws a curve, and you must put things on the backburner that you love to do. Living through the eighties saw changes such as going into the job market when college wasn't possible. The yearning to write did not end. Also, in the eighties she met the man who had her heart at first glance, this man would become her husband. Being an incurable romantic, the happy couple got married on Valentine's Day.In the nineties, she found a job in the medical field that she still loves. During this time Theresa read romantic novels extensively. She found something lacking, these heroines were too perfect, a cookie cut mold that frankly didn't represent who she is. A woman with curves. To Theresa, every woman of every shape and size deserves a love story. This brings us to the present day and her journey to write Contemporary Romances for woman with curves realizing their loves, hopes and dreams. Theresa Kemble lives on the east coast with her husband Bob. At night when she gets home from work, that's when her imagination starts and she lets her fingers fly over the keys telling stories about women with curves, and the men who will fall hopelessly in love with them. She loves the city that she was born and raised in, (Go Birds! Go Phillies!) and a little bit of that city goes into her stories as well. Besides writing, Theresa enjoys going to the movies, listening to music and of course, reading contemporary romances.
