Synopsis
What does the future hold for a small boy and a ghoul, best friends living in two worlds separated by carefully kept secrets?
While Sammy struggles to be a normal (almost) human boy, Karl learns to live among humans without eating so many of them. Cookies help, a lot. As do the patient adults tasked with helping all ghouls integrate with human society. Not easy to do. Bright orange eyes, sharp teeth, and claws are more likely to inspire panic than a friendly greeting.
Nonetheless, they're making progress, and the future looks brighter every day. Except for that recently escaped, not particularly sane fae with world domination on her mind. Also revenge. And exterminating all humans.
So, yeah, maybe a bit of a problem.
