The different main philosophies and religions of the East coincide in a main aspect from which they develop their ways of seeing the world: the Ego is nothing more than another thought with which we identify ourselves. An identification that makes us suffer and creates conflicts both internal and external. This mistaken identification with our true self is called Maya and happens spontaneously through the very process of thinking.
Yoga (its different types) has its own path to liberation, and it is only through correct understanding that one can overcome the cognitive deficiency generated by identifying with something that does not exist.
Throughout the book, we will break down the most important points to facilitate this liberation. We will eliminate the pillars of the Ego, and in this way, we will be able to not identify with it. We will look at it from the perspective of Hatha Yoga, as well as Raja Yoga and Vedanta Advaita. If necessary, the reader can also rely on texts taken from other philosophies and science, which are included to help understand the concepts in a complete and global way.
This book can serve as a guide, and it is written with the goal of helping to free oneself and advance in this fascinating vital task (Samadhi).
