Synopsis
In a world locked in eternal winter, survival is a war fought in shadows.
The last bastions of humanity cling to life aboard colossal steam-powered fortresses, remote outposts, and underground city-states—battling not only the merciless cold, but ruthless cartels, marauding pirates, and the iron grip of Hollow’s Overseer and Level One elites, who control the world’s dwindling resources.
Kael and Tan—two orphans and hardened survivors of that oppressive regime—escape into the frozen wastes aboard the scavenger vessel Frozen Explorer. Haunted by their past yet fuelled by a burning sense of justice, they find a family among the crew and vow to protect their new home at any cost.
But their journey will lead them to a deadly conspiracy stretching far beyond the icy horizons. At its heart lies the fabled Project Helios—a device capable of reshaping the world, for salvation or for ruin, depending on who claims it.
