The carvings do tell a story. The plants and berries are clearly seen in various carvings and that is something very interesting. The Watchers taught Earth humans "forbidden knowledge"..."roots and trees" -

  This phrase is interpreted as referring to the practice of using herbs, roots, and other natural substances for hallucination or alternative realities purposes, thus having access simular to God's.
• The Watchers showed Earth Women: how to make "bracelets, and ornaments, and the art of making up the eyes and of beautifying the eyelids, and the most precious and choice stones," Another carving on Mars canyon wall shows a woman's profile with pronounced eyelashes and her carving is immersed with reflected stones - possibly describing a Mars view constellation.

The artwork is amazing and many of the carvings are multiple images in one. You may find others from just looking at them from different angles. The Sun on that world also changes huge scenes on the canyon walls. For example, one image is of an animal skeleton and when the Sun moves their god breathes life into it and it is alive again with flesh. A form of moving artwork. Same with the hollow structures in the form of sea creatures.
