Synopsis

A famous Physicist once said that mankind had better take good care of the Earth, because there is no "Planet B". For over nine billion people it was dreadfully true - and largely ignored. Now the Earth is dying, and soon will no longer support life. A few hundreds cling to life on the planet Mars, living in cold, cramped underground colonies, having brought all their old political differences with them.

"Sky Watch". an international group of believers, saw disaster coming and set up on the Moon, searching the galaxy for a better alternative - somewhere their children can live on the surface under a benign sun, breathing the air, and rebuilding the human race. Drawn from all races, creeds and talents, they have built a massive ship they have called The Ark in which interstellar travel will be possible - if only they have a destination!

Against all the odds they learn of such a planet and set out on a journey over a distance of ten light years, a journey that will take them nearly a hundred and fifty years. It's never been attempted before...
