Synopsis

Janette continues to flourish as an author. With this, her second book of poetry, Me, Now, As I Was Then, she has delved into a realm of memoiric prose, producing a stunning and inspiring follow-up to its predecessor, Ripples and Waves of Life. During the course of creating this book it became apparent to me that this was more than a book of poetry. I found great depth emanating from Janette’s words. Again, she is not burdened with the fear of writing or revealing herself to the reader.

Janette continues to support and contribute to our writing group, For The Many Not The Few, and she has encouraged others to write and submit their work for publication, and for that I am eternally grateful.

If you’ve read her first book, then perhaps like me, you may find a thread running through both. That thread is the journey of her life. It has been a great honour for me to be involved in the publication of this book. I do hope that you glean as much pleasure absorbing yourself in this wonderful book.
