Synopsis

COGAT for 6th to 8th grades scholars is designed to improve critical thinking, problem solving, and logical reasoning skills. I have created 980 questions for students to practice, including a combination of question types that vary in difficulty. Question types included are multiple choice and open ended, to enhance the rigor of the question sets. This book helps prepare students for the Cognitive Ability Test. This book will provide an overview of the different types of questions related to grade 6th to 8th, Levels 12, 13 and 14. General ability questions have been embedded throughout this book. They measure the student’s ability to retain and retrieve information from their short-term memory. These questions can provide insight into areas in which students can enhance their reasoning skills, given tailored individual instructions.
