Synopsis

What would have happened if the real world intruded on a small town sheriff. Sheriff Marvin Morgan is retired. When his daughter’s fiancé Newspaper reporter Rocky Stone digs up damming information on his replacement Morgan is forced to put his star back on and take up his old job again. Rocky digs through Morgan’s cold cases to find a missing Marine. With Morgans tutelage Rocky is able to bring the man home. A large group of militant rioters are in hiding somewhere in town with the intent of causing mayhem at the Columbus National Convention. Morgan and Rocky work together to locate and smoke them out. When Morgan requests Rocky become his deputy things in town really begin to change. Eventually Rocky becomes the Sheriff and life will never be the same for him. Think of the real world intruding on Mayberry and a sheriff who doesn’t want his comfortable world to change.
