Synopsis
The thematic focus of this book is how God prepares His earthen vessels according to His divine Pattern to become living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to Him. The day of willingness of His people to bend to His will, is the day of manifestation of His power. Employing the typology of the ancient tabernacle in the wilderness, we tracked the journey of the pilgrim from the entrance gate right through into the Holiest of the Holies. The place of the Shekinah Glory of God.
The glorious reign of Josiah son of Amon, over Judah was sandwiched between ten disappointing predecessor kings and four hopeless successors, who ushered Judah into diaspora twenty-six centuries ago. Since then no king has acceded to the throne of David. However, despite the certain judgement which Israel was awaiting, Josiah’s willingness brought the Day of His Power, in a final powerful revival that the inhabitants of Judah ever knew.
As we see the nations of the world getting more restive and the nations named in Ezekiel 38 as Magog (Gog), Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, and Togarmah making their presence felt, this might be our own Josiah sandwich era, our kairos moment to usher in, the Day of His Power! Prophecy demands this before the Trumpet sounds.
