Synopsis

Hunt…or be hunted.

A ten-day wilderness hike through an isolated stretch of picturesque Maine is exactly what Beth needs to center herself after losing her husband to cancer. Even better? Her best friend of twenty years, Sharon, is tagging along. Despite an ominous warning from a grizzled outfitter about a woman who recently disappeared, neither of them is troubled by the remoteness of the trail or lack of cell service. They’re experienced hikers.

And adventure awaits.

Just not the way they imagined.

Something evil lurks in the woods, and the sense of being watched grows impossible to ignore. Spooked, the women welcome the company of a handsome stranger who saves Sharon from nearly falling over a cliff—especially Sharon, who’s always hunting for her next man.

They’re a great trio…

Until Beth wakes to an empty camp.

When she goes searching, she comes face-to-face with a masked hunter carrying a rifle—part of a nightmare far bigger than a single man.

He speaks one word.

Run.
