Krista Otterson spent her childhood in the Scandinavian forests, where moss, flowers, trees and animals seemed alive with their own stories. She imagined their secrets, and found inspiration in every rustle of the leaves or flutter of wings. Now, she weaves her love for nature, its creatures and its wonders into the stories she writes for young readers in the Evergreen State.
