When you encounter mountains that you don't know how to climb, you may take a step or two forward and fall. Even if you fall, you can try to step back up and reach in your pocket for some tools to proceed. Sometimes you have to embrace circumstances you never dreamed of encountering and grasp for the strength to continue on life's journey and accept grief and trauma or being in places where you have no control. I was a consultant as a Social Worker and in later years managed to become an inmate for two weeks. A natural inclination is to try to deny or avoid such a situation at any cost however, by accepting this, I managed to travel through those dark places. This book is not a self-help book as each person has to find their own way with or without guidance from a helper. There are two meanings to the other side, first the jail experience and getting to the other side. Most of all, I relied on God and strengths from my heritage, but this is not just a book for Christians. Hopefully, the outcome will help you to discover that you can get through anything and always practice gratitude.
