Synopsis
A painful walk through 2024 homicides in City of Chicago, including the author’s childhood neighborhood, the Westside. To illustrate the pathetic lack of urgently to deployed all necessary resources to cease the gun violence, that have destroyed young people and families. However, as long as there is a Northside and downtown covering the backside of Chicago, many are willing to let the violence play out, at least, until the revenues and jobs it generates are replaced,, and recouping the real estate where blood was spilled unnecessary. Critics will always blame it on the residents, who do not have the finances to manufacturer weapons, yet they are readily available.
