Synopsis
Summary of The Hunt for Revenge
Samantha was once an ordinary woman, but her life was shattered when her younger sister was brutally raped and murdered by a ruthless gang. Consumed by grief and fury, she dedicated herself to the path of vengeance, training her mind and body to become a lethal assassin. But just as she was ready to strike, fate cruelly robbed her of her revenge—the gang was wiped out in a bloody gang war before she could make them suffer.
Refusing to accept this ending, Samantha sought out the impossible: a way to enter the afterlife and hunt down her sister’s killers in death. With the help of Draven, a mysterious occultist with forbidden knowledge, she embarked on a journey beyond the mortal realm.
Crossing into the dark abyss of the afterlife, Samantha fought against nightmarish creatures and the twisted souls of those who had done evil in life. She hunted each member of the gang, ensuring their suffering was far worse than anything they had inflicted on her sister. But with each kill, she felt something shifting within her—the Rift, the boundary between life and death, was watching her.
At last, she reached the final target—the Butcher, the gang leader who had orchestrated her sister’s torment. Their battle was brutal, pushing Samantha to the edge of her strength. In the end, she did what no mortal should ever do—she used the power of the Rift itself to erase him from existence.
But as she returned to the world of the living, something followed her back. Shadows moved where they shouldn’t, whispers lingered in the air, and an unnatural power pulsed within her veins.
