LALO GUERRA is a product of Houston's Mexican street and prison gang culture. A high-school dropout, Guerra began using drugs at an early age and turned to a life of crime to sustain his habit. Not until his mid-30s was Guerra finally able to shake off his addictions by accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Today, Lalo and his wife, Rosie, as well as select children and grandchildren make their home in Franklin, Texas, where Lalo is part of a thriving ministry at the Robertson County Jail.

TIM GREGG is former sportscaster and public relations manager on the women's tennis tour, Now a marketing consultant and long-time author, his 13 books include subjects ranging from baseball great Wally Moon and legendary college football coach Bud Wilkinson to a series of collected stories taken from the historic annals of Texas A&M University. He is married to former astronaut Nancy Currie-Gregg
