Synopsis

Greenwood County Florida had remained a quiet, closeknit community for many years. Everybody knew everybody.
The local Church was full every Sunday and people felt safe in their homes. Nothing ever happened in Greenwood
County. Wildlife was abundant, people raised their own crops and when the wind blew everyone could smell
their neighbor’s barbeque giving off an odor that immediately made everyone hungry. But when the B&D Construction
Company bought five acres of forested land on the east side of the county, all of that changed.
As the forested land started to be cleared, dead bodies started showing up. Their deaths were all attributed to heart
failure. Regardless of age or whether the person had a perfect record of health, the autopsies still came back resulting
in the same cause of death. What was also strange to the detectives working the individual cases, was that every
victim either died in or were perhaps placed in relatively the same location in the densely overgrown forest. They had no
signs of trauma or any indication of foul play. There was no evidence to indicate anything other than a natural death.
However, there was just this ominous presence that surrounded these deaths that made the findings not seem right.
Join Forensic Director Troy Wagner and members of the Florida Sheriff’s Associations Statewide Forensic Task
Force as they battle against forces that stir the imagination and put into question whether to believe science or religion.
